REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR 2017/18

Please be aware that we operate on a “first come, first served policy.” Existing children are not automatically re-registered and guaranteed a place. Places are limited so please register early to avoid disappointment.

During Ramadan and the school summer holidays, we will be open from 9am – 12pm for registration & viewings. Registration is available on-line.

We have three terms each year.
2017/2018
Autumn term    06/09/2017 – 21/12/2017   Spring term 07/01/2018 -29/03/2018
Summer term 08/04/2018 – 13/06/2018

On the first day of a new school year, please report to the reception area where you will meet your child’s teacher and be taken to the classroom to settle your child. Parents are welcome to stay for a while to help reassure their child and may observe them via the CCTV cameras in the Principals office.

We have introduced a few new school policies, which we like to make you aware of. Please see below: We do not have an academic admission test as we feel all children have the right to an education. We do however believe that any child with “special needs” deserves the opportunity to receive the best of care .For this reason all new applicants, will be required to meet a member of our staff prior to confirmation of a guaranteed placement. For those children coming from a previous nursery/play school, you may be asked to provide certain background information, such as repeated illness, a history of school reports and permission to share any information we feel may be necessary. If you are registering a student in their absence please be aware that the following applies: If a child is found to have any un-disclosed issues, we reserve the right to refuse admission. On the first day of any absence, please send an email, SMS or a telephone call, as we need to keep records showing all communication when it concerns your child’s welfare. (Please ensure that we have at-least two emergency contact numbers on file.) We have a zero tolerance bullying policy. Last term we had quite a few events and parties. Photographs are displayed in the school entrance. Please be aware that photographs of the children are sometimes added to our website and for advertising purposes. If you wish your child to be excluded, please inform the office & the class teacher. We cannot be held responsible for publishing photographs without consent, unless we have been instructed to exclude children by the parent. Please be advised that your child must not be dropped off before 7.30 am unless there is an emergency. Collection is at 1.30 pm, failure to do so may result in your child automatically being placed into the after school club, this will occur a daily cost of 3 RO. If you need to collect your child before 1.30 pm, Please report to the office and ask for a staff member to collect your child in order to minimize disruption to the lessons. The after school club has proved to be extremely popular. This needs to be booked and pad for in advance to guarantee a place. In addition we are hoping to introduce some after school activities, such as yoga, football, ballet etc. later in the year.
